An excerpt from the Chapter

“Necessity for Action

Without the arts, inspiration, beauty and creative forms, and those who create such (the artists and visionaries), being granted enough attention, energy, and real understanding then both the artist and civilization begin to fade out.

It is vital to recognize that individuals in the society, and the artists and creative ones as well, thrive on music, visual arts, theatre, poetry, dance and literature. Simply put if the arts are ignored, then life and the human spirit are ignored at the core impulse which could be stated: to build, to construct and create.

If we ignore the arts and the creative impulse, then like a body that no longer creates itself and develops illnesses, we as a society will be filled with a cancer and possibly many mechanical wonders and interesting activities and devices but devoid of beauty, synchronicity, harmony and humanity.

If communities and cultures don't rally behind the arts and artists, and make an effort to resurrect the many thousands of artists who are, in fact, not pursuing creative and innovative fields, then the culture slowly loses it's most precious gift… the inspired ones and the ones who can inspire. And it also loses its beauty, its hope and the many melodies and colors of creation and potential new creation.
