Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dianne Rini moved to California in 1982. A prolific artist, she created new works almost every day from 1996 till 2002 which is called her Diary Without Words Series. A self-taught artist, Dianne has experimented with several media such as charcoal, pigments, pastels, and acrylics. Dianne says, 'Music is a great influence on my work. It is the most important medium that I use when creating my designs and paintings. My artwork seems to reveal organic landscapes from another time and space; other worlds from the past, or maybe even the far away future. ' Dianne continues, "What ever magic is created when the pen or brush hit the surface of a fine quality of paper or canvas, to express myself through the freedom of movement, creating my art to music, allows my true inner self to come through in its purest form. And tapping into the innocence of my imagination reflects the real soul of my work. And I hope that I can touch everyone¹s heart and soul in a positive, feeling good way, through capturing the graceful movement of a dancer and yet create an illusion of the undefined." Dianne Rini
