Following on the heels of five prior festivals (each in different parts of California) in the past four years, Artists Helping Artists (Aha!) and the We Carnival are planning our Art, Spirit and Life Festival in Santa Cruz California.  Our festival occurs in this unique beach and mountain community that is nestled wonderfully between the beauty of Monterey Bay and the majesty of the redwood forest.

Santa Cruz -- rich in beauty and creative spirit...

Most of those who live in or have visited Santa Cruz realize the region as a rich haven of natural beauty coupled with a high degree of human creativity, innovative spirit and a deep love  environment.   With a large number of cultural creatives, visionary artists and musicians, and a wide variety of pioneering and adventurous spirits, Santa Cruz is a region that speaks to the wonderful possibilities of imagination and human ingenuity that builds a greater harmony in environment, in community and in life.

Creativity, education, environment, spirit and science...

The festival will bring together creative catalysts, arts and music leaders,  innovators, visionaries and others to that inspire and present new solutions in the arts, music, education, environment, sustainability, spirit, science and community. The event will celebrate a renaissance of creativity, community and sustainability occurring in Santa Cruz and many other communities across America and the world.

Workshops, performances, exhibits and vision awards...

2006 Festival activities will include three workshop rooms with top lectures and sessions going all day, three music stages going all day and around 40 to 60 innovative exhibiting organizations from throughout the state of California and the Santa Cruz region.

The festival will also include a youth, family and educational portion and Community Vision Awards.

Attendance at the workshops, festival, exhibits and performances is expect to be between 1200 and 2500 individuals throughout the day.  The festival will also be a great place for cultural creatives, fine artists, musicians, writers, educators and other visionaries to gather, connect and build relationships!
